Locks of Love!

From this...

to this....

Last Saturday Rylee donated her hair to Locks of Love and I am so proud of her.  She was happy that she was able to help a child less fortunate than her.  Locks of Love assists financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term hair loss.  I hope she has made a difference in another child's life.

Rylee has such a sweet heart and I wouldn't be surprised if she does this again sometime in the future!

(Beth made her look just like her Mom which was the look she was going for. Thanks Beth!)

Happy 1st Birthday Grant!

We have been busy all weekend celebrating Grant's first birthday!  His birthday was Friday and the party was scheduled for Saturday so Erin made him cupcakes and we had a mini-party Friday night.  He loved digging into his cupcake - something he had not experienced before but he definitely decided it was pretty good.

He has grown into such a sweet 1 year old this year.  He had a doctor's appointment on his birthday and ended up with five shots but they didn't seem to bother him too much except for a big knot on one of his legs!

Grant has eight teeth, weighs 21 lbs. 10 ounces, is 31 inches tall, crawls faster than I can walk, has taken a few steps but is not too interested in walking just yet, loves grilled cheese sandwiches and sweet tea, blows kisses, loves to clap at all of his achievements, and sleeps well at night.

Erin made his birthday very special and did a great  job on everything!

I love this precious boy and can't wait to celebrate all of his birthdays in the coming years!

Ashley made this awesome monkey cake!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUGARMAN!
I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!

BEAUTIFUL!

This is what we woke up to this morning.  As of right now we have over 5 inches of snow.  The kids are out of school again and will probably be going to school until July this year.  I don't think they really care right now!

This was taken from my back door.  I love this snow (without ice this time).
